Third Time's A Charm

Or so they say.

In 2007 there was Team Vodka. In 2008, Team Insanity. This year, there's Team Fibonacci. That's right, it's Kokoda Challenge time again.

Yes, it's a geeky name, but we're all geeks by trade. And if you look at the number of previous attempts of each of our team members:-
0 - Stuart
1 - Shane
1 - Brock
2 - Nicole
you will, of course, see the first four numbers of the Fibonacci sequence. Cool, huh? :-)

It's been a while since updates, so what else has been going on?

October saw me head down to the Gold Coast with the rest of FC Technolocy for my first "Conference" at Q1. The conference part was conference-y, the view from Q1 is pretty decent, but my 26 hour stay was marred by the fact that they lost my bag. And my keys. And everything. But aside from that it was a good day/night.

November brought a camping trip out at Girraween with the expected wine rack restocking and attacks by kookaburras. It also saw me start working crazy hours to get a project out on time.

December saw more of the same hours right up until the work Christmas party kicked off at 4pm on the 12th (just in time for the successful release on the weekend). I also managed to fit all my Christmas shopping / preparation into 10 days with the help of a few TOIL days. Oh, and I bought a car. And went partying for New Years. Whew!

January saw more of the partying around town with "normal" Friday drinks, Friday catchup dinner / drinks during Suhail's visit, and leaving lunches / drinks when Dennis moved on from FC. And then there was the holiday on the Pacific Sun with Dennis, Nicey, Matt, Aileen, Aimee, Nat and Dylan.

And now it's February, so the traditional party season is now over, and it's back to training season.
